It was with immense joy that we hosted the third edition of Casa Brasil Miami in our gallery. The event, held on December 5, 2023, was officially inaugurated by Ambassador André Odenbreit Carvalho, Consul General of Brazil in Miami. Casa Brasil Miami serves as a meeting point to appreciate important works by masters of Brazilian modern and contemporary art, as well as to highlight the new generation of artists.
This year, the theme paid tribute to Candido Portinari, with ten artists creating works inspired by his iconic “War and Peace”. Casa Brasil is truly a Brazilian embassy of art and culture, shining during Miami Art Week. The event was presented by Diesel Wynwood and sponsored by Emporium Brazil Design Gallery, Guaraná Antárctica, BB Americas Bank, FG Empreendimentos, and Bvlgari, in addition to institutional support from the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services of Brazil, Consulate General of Brazil in Miami, Brazilian Floridian USA Chamber of Commerce, Apex Brazil, and Instituto Guimarães Rosa.
